DISCONTINUED Jordi Rubio TG01 37mm KWK L/45 for:Panzer III Ausf.A/G

KwK36 (full marking: 3.7 cm KwK 36 L / 45 , and the 3.7 cm Kampfwagenkanone 36 L / 45) is a German 37 mm tank gun from the interwar period and World War II. The cannon entered production in the mid-1930s. Its barrel length was 45 calibers, or 166.5 centimeters. The average rate of fire was from 12 to 15 rounds per minute. However, achieving this value required a highly trained crew. The maximum range was about 5,400 meters. The presented tank gun was developed as a modification of the 37mm PaK36 anti-tank gun, which when it entered service was one of the most successful guns in its category in Europe. Also, the KwK36 gun was in the 1930s at least sufficient to counter the enemy's light and medium armored vehicles. However, already during the campaign in France (1940) it turned out to be useless against Char B1 Bis vehicles, and during the fighting on the Eastern Front it was practically useless against the T-34 and KW-1 tanks. The KwK36 cannon fired several types of projectiles, e.g. Panzergranate (PzGr.) 18, PzGr. 39, later also PzGr. 40, but also Sprenggranate 34 (Sprgr. 34). It was the basic armament of the prototype Lecihttraktor and Neubaufahrzeug tanks, but most of all - the Pz.Kpfw. III in versions from Ausf. And to Ausf. G.
