The Fairchild F-91 is a compact all-metal passenger seaplane with a retractable landing gear and single-engine drive. The prototype flight took place in April 1935, and in 1938 production of the minimum production series started. It was powered by one 800HP Pratt-Whitney R-1690 engine or a Wright "Cyclone" GR-1820-F52 engine. The plane was adapted to transport eight passengers. Only seven were produced, two of which were transferred to the Brazilian Pan American subsidiary, and two were transferred to the Japanese fleet for testing and training aircraft. Only one of these planes went to the RAF in Egypt, where it served until 1943. when it was shot down. Technical data: Maximum speed: 269 km / h, speed of climb: 4.3 m / s, practical ceiling 4,755 m, maximum range: 1,070 km.
