Choroszy Modelbud B03 Fokker C.VII-W Dutch WWII floatplane

The Fokker C.VII is a Dutch reconnaissance seaplane from the interwar period and World War II in the biplane configuration, with a fixed float undercarriage. The machine was first flew in 1928 and its serial production lasted from 1928 to 1932. The drive was provided by a single engine Armstrong Siddeley Lynx with power up to 225 hp. The length of the aircraft was 9.5 meters with a wingspan of 12.9 meters. The maximum speed was up to 160 km / h. The deck armament consisted of two 7.7 mm machine guns.

The Fokker C.VII aircraft was designed primarily for use by the Dutch military aviation and it was assumed from the very beginning that the new machine would be used primarily in the Far East - in the Dutch East Indies. In order to shorten the research and development work, the new aircraft was very much based on another Fokker aircraft - the CV model. Initially, Fokker C.VII machines were used for reconnaissance purposes, but in the 1930s they were reclassified as training and training aircraft. On a small scale and temporarily, they were used as on-board reconnaissance planes, for example on cruisers of the Java class. The machines played a minor role during the German invasion of the Netherlands in 1940 and during the Japanese attack on Malaya in 1941-1942.
