The Junkers Jumo 213 was a German WWII aero engine produced by Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorwerke AG. It was first tested in 1940. The engine - in the Jumo 213 E version - weighed 940 kilograms with a displacement of 35 liters. It is estimated that a total of about 9,000 copies of this aircraft engine were produced.

The Junkers Jumo 213 was a V12 12 cylinder, liquid-cooled, inverted V12 engine. The engine was developed on the basis of the Jumo 211 engine. From its predecessor, it took many technical solutions, such as the general structure or fuel injection, but also included many modifications. First of all, a completely redesigned engine block and the addition of a turbocharger instead of the usual compressor. Since entering serial production, the Junkers Jumo 213 engine has been refined. In the design of the Jumo 213B version, maximum power was to increase from 1750 hp to 2000 hp, and the Jumo 213 E version had a two-stage turbocharger, which allowed for an increase in maximum speed. The Junkers Jumo 213 engine was used as a power unit for several German aircraft during the Second World War. It drove such machines as, for example: late versions of the Junkers Ju 88 or especially the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and Ta-152.
