The Goto Predestinatsia was a Russian three-masted battleship from the early 18th century. The construction of the vessel began in 1698, and its launch took place in 1700. The length of the ship was 36 meters. However, the armament consisted of 58 on-board guns, and its crew consisted of about 250 people. The Goto Predestinatsia was the first battleship in the history of the Russian Navy to be designed and built without any foreign aid. She was accepted into service in 1700 and remained in it for the next eleven years as part of the so-called Azov Flotilla. However, in 1711 it was sold to the Ottoman Empire in order to participate in the war with Venice of 1714-1718 in that country's fleet. The Goto Predestinatsia was considered to be quite a successful ship with good sea prowess and relatively strong armament.
