JSC 103 Holenderski szkuner EENDRACHT

The SY Eendracht is a modern Dutch sailing seagoing training vessel (schooner) that was launched in 1989. The total length of the vessel is 59 meters and a width of 12.3 meters. However, the sails area reaches approx. 1050 m2. The maximum speed of the vessel is 14.5 knots. SY Eendracht is currently the largest Dutch three-masted schooner. It is included in the so-called tall ships, i.e. a specific class of modern sailing ships, which are considered the largest in the world. The vessel was made predominantly of steel, and a great emphasis was placed on the safety of navigation. At present, the shipowner is Sichting Het Zeilend Zeeschip. The main task of the ship is to perform school cruises promoting Dutch sailing traditions among children and adolescents.
