Trumpeter 01103 JIEFANG CA-30 ARMY TRUCK

The Jiefang CA-30 is a Chinese multi-purpose truck from the post-war period. The first copies of this car probably appeared in the late 1950s, and serial production continued in 1958-1986. The Jiefang CA-30 was powered by a single 95hp Jiefang 120 engine.

The Jiefang CA-30 was a Chinese copy of the Soviet truck ZIL-157. The main difference between the two cars was the use of a different engine in Chinese design and a slightly different shape of fenders and bumpers. The Jiefang CA-30 had all-wheel drive, had a load capacity of up to 2.5 tons and - like the Soviet prototype - showed good off-road properties. Cars of this type were used very intensively by the Chinese army until the beginning of the 1990s. At present, they have been withdrawn from the front line and placed partly in the reserve and partly sold for scrap or into private hands.
