The Morane-Saulnier G was a French low-wing sports and racing aircraft from the early 20th century. The prototype flight took place in 1912. In the GB version, the plane was 6.3 meters long with a wingspan of 9.2 meters. The drive was provided by a single Gnome-Rhone engine with 80 HP. The maximum speed was up to 123 km / h. The Morane-Saulnier G plane was developed by two designers: Leon Morane and Raymond Saulnier, who were, in fact, the creators of one of the most important French aviation companies of the interwar period. The plane turned out to be successful and was considered one of the best in its class in the period just before the outbreak of World War I. At the outbreak of the Great War, the machines were used by the French air force as reconnaissance and liaison aircraft. With time, however, they were moved to school and training tasks. They were also used by the British and Russian air forces.
