The Nissan 240RS (another designation: BS110) is a Japanese rally car that was first presented to the public in 1983. Small serial production lasted only in the years 1983-1985.
The Nissan 240RS was developed as a highly developed version of the Silvia model, replacing the Nissan Silvia Turbo. Compared to the original, the 240RS was powered by a completely different engine - the FJ24 with a capacity of 2.4 liters and 237 HP, which was developed especially for car rallies. The car's structure was also strengthened, as was its suspension. The steering and braking systems were also modernized and adapted to the rallies. The Nissan 240RS made its debut at the 1983 Monte Carlo Rally, and made its last appearance at the UK Rally in November 1985. In total, the drivers behind it took part in 20 rallies, but did not win any of them.
