General Electric T700 is a turbo-shaft engine from the Cold War period and modern times of American production. In the course of production and operation, the engine was subjected to constant modifications, which led to the creation of a large number of versions of this engine with different characteristics and parameters. It is worth noting that, based on the T700 engine, the General Electric concern also developed and implemented into production a successful turboprop engine designated as CT7, which was used, for example, on the Saab 340 aircraft.
