Military Wheels 7235 Soviet truck UPG-250GM

The UPG-250GM was a Soviet mobile workshop and technical inspection vehicle from the Cold War period. The car was 5.53 meters long and 2.2 meters wide. The UPG-250GM was developed as a specialized technical inspection vehicle for aviation units of the Soviet Air Force. Its use made it possible to streamline and speed up processes such as checking the pressure in the tires of the chassis, testing hydraulic, fuel and electrical installations. The truck transported all the equipment and instruments necessary for these tasks. It was dedicated primarily to cooperation with jet machines. In order to shorten the development work, the vehicle was placed on a chassis and used the suspension of the GAZ-51 truck, already mass-produced. The driver's cabin and the front of the car were also identical to the GAZ-51.
