Toyota Century is a Japanese passenger car of the upper (luxury) class, currently produced by Toyota Motor Corporation, which was first presented to the public in 1967. Its production started the same year and is still going on. The model has therefore been in production for over 50 years! Production of the first and second generations of the model was located in the city of Susono in Japan.

The Century model was developed and put into production in order to expand the commercial offer of the concern, as well as to enter the luxury car segment and compete with such limousines as Mercedes-Benz 600 or Daimler DS420. From the very beginning, it was also treated as Toyota's flagship car, intended primarily for the domestic market. Century models were often used as official cars of the Yamato dynasty in Japan or as limousines for important political dignitaries. In the course of production, the car had only three of its generations, each of which is characterized by a very conservative style and very high travel comfort. The latest, third generation was presented in 2017 during the Tokyo Motor Show.
