Toyota Majesta (another name: Toyota Crown Majesta) is a Japanese passenger car of the upper class (luxury), produced by Toyota Motor Corporation, which was first presented to the public in 1991. Its production started the same year and is still going on. The Majesta model was developed and put into production in order to expand the commercial offer of the Toyota concern, as well as to complement the Lexus brand and the Century model. From the very beginning, it was designed as one of the flagship models of the concern, offering very high travel comfort and safety, good performance as well as extensive basic and additional equipment. In the domestic market, the model competes with the Nissan Fuga, for example. In the course of serial production, six generations of the Majestat model were created, which were mostly powered by 8-cylinder engines with a capacity of 3.0 to 4.6 liters. The only body version available was and still is a 4-door sedan.
